What to expect

Your skin is prepped with targeted cleansing

Using a brush, the peel is applied

The peel is kept on for 3 to 5 minutes, depending on the type of peel. Some mild discomfort can be felt, which is normal

Using a neutralising solution, the peel is removed

A cool compress is applied to soothe the treated area, followed by a hydrating cream and sunscreen

Minor scarring can occur in rare cases, but it typically diminishes as the skin heals.

The skin may feel dry and flaky as it sheds old layers and reveals new, healthier skin beneath.

Mild swelling might appear, usually resolving within a few days as the skin adjusts.

Temporary changes in skin tone may occur, gradually evening out as the skin heals and regenerates.

Recently used certain acne treatments
